Liberty Garden was created as a memorial to September 11, 2001.  It is a passive park with a 1/2 acre walking trail, gazebo, picnic tables, garden benches and plenty of green space for creative play.  Points of interest include Freedom Plaza which includes a Freedom Shrine (30 Historical American documents), a Veteran’s Memorial Wall for Madison County Fallen Soldiers (Beginning with WW I), a decorative, round, concrete replica of the Tennessee Flag, and an arboretum marked with the trees’ scientific and common names.
