Tennessee Law Enforcement Memorial

The Tennessee Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been established in McNairy County to honor all officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great state and the communities they protected.  It offers a place where people from across the state and nation can visit and pay their respects to every officer who has died in the line of duty in Tennessee. The memorial wall stands 5 feet tall and spans 40 feet in length, engraved with each officer’s name, agency, and year of sacrifice. A total of 796 law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in Tennessee are currently honored on the wall. The Foundation is committed to adding names of officers who, sadly, may lose their lives in the line of duty in future years. This project was funded entirely through private and corporate donations, with construction beginning in the fall of 2024.

All future donations will be applied 100% to the ongoing maintenance of the memorial. We invite you to join us in supporting this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a project that gives these officers the respect and recognition they deserve. McNairy County remains steadfast in preserving its proud history rooted in law enforcement.
