SUMMARY:9th Annual Hatchie Bottom Bluegrass Jamboree
DESCRIPTION:The sounds of banjos\, fiddles and mandolins will fill the air when the ninth annual Hatchie Bottom Bluegrass Jamboree returns Saturday\, October 10\, 2026\, to the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center in Brownsville TN. The free event begins at 10 am\, bringing musicians and music lovers together for a day celebrating West Tennessee’s bluegrass traditions.  “We’d love for folks to come spend the day with us\,” said Devon Parks\, director of the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center. “Bring a chair and enjoy the music\, and if you play\, come early and bring your instrument for some shade tree picking. ”The day begins at 10 a.m.\, with Shade Tree Pickers on the main stage\, an informal session that invites musicians to bring their instruments and join in. Whether taking part in the music or listening from a lawn chair\, guests can enjoy the shared tunes and fellowship that make bluegrass gatherings special. Scheduled stage performances begin at 11 a.m. The jamboree offers an opportunity to enjoy live acoustic music and celebrate the string-band traditions that remain a part of the region’s musical heritage.  The 2026 schedule includes: John Few will serve as emcee for the day.10 a.m. – Shade Tree Pickers on the main stage11 a.m. – Mountain Heirs Noon – Cecil Yancy 1 p.m. – Hatchie Bottom Boys with Mike Garrett2 p.m. – Mulberry Jam 3 p.m. – Grassfire Bluegrass Band4 p.m. – Cowgirl Up Collective  Held at a destination devoted to sharing the music\, history and culture of rural West Tennessee\, the Jamboree brings those traditions to life through live performances and the simple pleasure of making music together.
